Intel has acquired Recon, maker of heads-up wearables geared towards sports. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Intel says it had previously invested in Recon via the company’s capital portfolio. There are no plans to dismantle Recon; in announcing the acquisition, Intel notes ”customers and retailers of Recon products can rest assured they’ll continue selling, enhancing and marketing their products under the Recon brand without disruption.” Recon will be partnering with Intel’
