SoundCloud will soon introduce streaming limits outside of its network. Starting July 1, any track hosted on the service will be limited to 15,000 streams in a 24 hour period. The limitation won’t affect tracks played directly on Soundcloud — only those played via a third-party app. To enforce the new playback rule, SoundCloud is instituting a 15,000 play request limit on their API.
